We have the pleasure to inform you that our group has negotiated this excellent option related to Eucalyptus Wood Chips from Brazil according to below details:
Product: Eucalyptus Woodchips for Pulp & Paper Production
Origin: Brazil
Shipment Volume: Packaging for transport: Loaded with moisture-resistant Big Bags, each weighing 500 kg.
Quantity per Container: 24 Tons, 48 Big Bags. 21,280 BDMT.
For the first contract, we will need 60 days for shipment. After that, shipments will be monthly.
Minimum Initial Volume: 500 Containers, 12,000 Tons, 10,640 BDMT
2nd month: 800 containers, 19,200 Tons, 17,024 BDMT.
3rd month: 1200 Containers, 28,800 Tons, 25,536 BDMT.
Supply capacity for up to 5 years
Port of Origin: Port of Imbituba, Santa Catarina-Brazil.
Port of Destination: Ports in South Asia and India; other ports may be negotiated.
Transport Vessel: Container Ship
CIF Price per BDMT: US$165.00 (One hundred and sixty five dollars)
Payment Terms: LC or DLC Transferable or NON-Transferable, paid 100% at sight with Monthly MT103.
Inspection: SGS at loading port
Certification: Certificate of Origin issued by MAPA (the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply), and all production complies with ABNT NBR 14789 Standard on forest management
Performance Bond: 2%
SPECIFICATIONS:
SIZE
Maximum of 5% of chips longer than 40 mm.
Minimum of 85% of chips must be between 9.5 mm and 40 mm.
Maximum of 6% of chips must be between 4.8 mm and 9.5 mm.
Maximum of 3% of chips must be less than 4.8 mm long.
The chips must contain a maximum of 1.0% bark and decomposing organic matter and zero charcoal.
Minimum of 90% of the thickness must be between 5 and 8 mm.
CONTAMINATION
The wood chips must be free from any type of contamination, such as stones, soil, plastic, metal, asphalt, glass, etc., and must be suitable for pulp production for papermaking. Determination of Weight, Moisture Content, and BDMT
Shipping document: A full set of the following documents will be issued
+ Commercial invoice
+ Packing list
+ Bill of loading (B/L) on board
+ Phytosanitation
+ Fumigation
+ Certificate of origin issued by the Brazil Chamber of Commerce and Industry
+ Certificate of Quantity/Weight in issue by the third party: SGS at loading ports.
+ Certificate of Moisture in issued by SGS at loading ports.
PROCEDURES
- Seller issues FCO(SCO) Soft Corporate offer signed & sealed
- Buyer issues LOI.
- Seller issues Draft Contract.
- Buyer signs the Draft Contract and sends it back to the Seller.
- Seller issues the final Contract to the Buyer.
- Buyer’s bank issues and sends by swift the non-operative L/C 100% at sight to the Seller’s bank within 48 hours.
- Seller posts Performance Bond (PB) for the value of 2 % and LC becomes operative.
- Shipment begins. Buyers can perform a physical inspection together with SGS at the time of loading of product.
